April 22-23, 2017 Class Cards

These cards were inspired via Pinterest or my Demo Facebook group, but I will give credit as best I can.

Kylie Bertucci had the original idea, but I loved it so, I had to CASE it! This card uses the Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, Falling in Love Embellishments, Lace Doilies, along with Very Vanilla and Blushing Bride cardstock. The sentiment is stamped in Rose Red ink and it is from the stamp set "Better Together."

Connie Collins was the inspiration for this card, but I changed up the color scheme to Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. The stamp set is "Love Sparkles." I used the watercolor pencils and blender pen to fill in the hearts. It is finished off with Black Baker's Twine.

Suzanne Netz inspired this card using the Love Sparkles stamp set. The rainbow theme was Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Wild Wasabi, and Tempting Turquoise on a base of Whisper White, Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise cardstock. Rhinestone jewels give it the bling that is needed.

Jani at Cardiology inspired this card. Starting with the Foxy Friends stamp set and matching A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack, this card was created also using Smokey Slate, Pool Party, Calypso Coral, and Whisper White cardstock.  Calypso Coral and Black Stazon inks were used. I used the 2-1/2" circle punch and Layering Circles Framelits to create the fox centerpiece. The Duet Banner punch and words from Thoughtful Banners stamp set provide the sentiment. Both ribbons are retired, but you could use whatever suits your fancy.

This cute raccoon birthday card is easy to make. Start with Whisper White and Smokey Slate cardstock, add A Foxy Friends Designer Series Paper Stack and Silver Glimmer Paper, plus Black Stazon Ink and the retired White Gel pen to create the face and tail. The raccoon body is fussy cut out, but the head and tail use the Fox Builder punch. Rhinestone jewels really make the reflective eyes of the raccoon. The Foxy Friends stamp set and Fox Builder punch are easy to use. The balloons are made from the Balloon Bouquet Punch, and Balloon Thinlits, stamped with sentiments from the Celebrate Today set and a stamp from a prior Paper Pumpkin kit set. Smokey Slate, Basic Black, and Whisper White Baker's Twine finish off the balloons. A card any child would love to receive!

Kylie Bertucci inspired this baby card. Again the Smokey Slate, Basic Black, Whisper White and A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper Stack were used to create this card. The stamp set was Better Together stamped with Pool Party or Coastal Cabana and Smokey Slate inks. The Layering Squares Framelits were used, along with the Silver Metallic Ribbon that was available during the Sale-a-bration period.

I hope you are inspired to give these cards a try. You can order supplies via my online store. Thanks for stopping by!

Organized Swap at On Stage San Diego - Nailed It Card

I participated in a Black and White Swap with one accent color, Real Red, so I had to use the Nailed It Bundle with the Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for this masculine card. In addition, I used Stylized Birthday, Black Baker's Twine and a little sponging for some pop.

Have fun with this one!

On Stage San Diego Swap - April 8

I just love going to Stampin' Up! Events. It was a special treat to be able to visit my hometown as well. Here's the card I designed that was inspired by Jackie Bolhuis' You Tube Video. Check out her technique video here.

Additional Supplies not from Stampin' Up!
Scotch Tape

Tim Holtz Distress Brush for splattering of ink. I also used a piece of hard plastic, like a Pampered Chef brown scraper to flick the brush against to save my finger from getting all inked up.

A Little Behind - March's Class Cards

Above CASED from Michele Reynolds using Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper and Butterfly Thinlits in Night of Navy and Whisper White color scheme.

Above cased from Kim@riverfrontstampin.com using the Sale-a-Bration Between the Lines Designer Series Paper and Detailed Floral Thinlits in Basic Black and Whisper White.

Floating, juggling eggs by the bunny was cased from Susan Campfield. I brought out a retired color Baja Breeze, because it just went so well with Whisper White. The Basket Bunch Bundle is super fun to work with coloring with the new watercolor pencils and highlighting with Clear Wink of Stella pen. I also used the Layering Square Framelits and Window Sheets to raise the image off the base.

I just loved this cute, simple design cased from Susan Wong. The same set Basket Bunch Bundle was used here again.

This anniversary card was cased from Leanne Johnson.
The Falling Petals Embossing folder really makes this card. The color scheme was Soft Sky and Smokey Slate with Very Vanilla. So pretty.

Baking card cased from Diana Gibbs. The Perfect Mix stamp set is so fun for coloring in with the watercolor pencils and fussy cutting out the images to float them with dimensionals. Colors were Whisper White, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, and Pool Party.

Thanks for taking a peek on this page! Happy Stamping!
