Best Fishes Jar of Love Card

Lynn Dorian Swindell inspired this card layout, but I changed it up a bit with diagonal corners cut by hand, a non-Stampin' Up! bakers twine that I had in my collection, and a retired piece of "peachy" polka dot paper that is from Stampin' Up! but so old I can't remember the actual color name. Sorry!

This is a quick card, but so cheery. Give it a try!

Lots of Love Card Ideas

This card took awhile to create just because you had to let the Whisper White dry after you used the Aqua Painter on it, coloring the sky, elephant, and mouse. The gold metallic washi tape is retired, but the card really doesn't need it unless you love bling!  I stamped off with the flourish from Timeless Treasures in Crumb Cake ink on the Whisper White base. The fun part was using an exacto knife to place a small slit on the top and bottom of the elephant trunk AFTER the paper has dried. Take at least 6 inch lengths of the gold thread to tie around the base of each balloon and tape one end of the gold thread to the back of the balloon. Then use one of those blue  "flossing loops" as  your needle to pull the 3 gold threads through the slits in the trunk at the same time. Then you can adjust placement of the balloons on your card front.

This card goes together quickly with your Big Shot by your side. The small polka dot paper and basic black ribbon has retired. I learned a new trick on how to tie the ribbon that I can't believe I didn't know after 5 and a half years as a demonstrator. Check out the video at the link below. It is awesome!

Two Ways to use Floral Phrases and Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies

Cased from Lynn Starzl but changed the sentiment. I just loved her color choices.

Product List

I was inspired by many others, but can't find them online right now. The size to cut the Whisper White paper was 4 x 4.25. Also save out the 2 flowers from the die cut to use by the sentiment. The stretchy lace ribbon is now retired, but I was using up my stash! Another hint - be sure to use a clear stamp block to weigh down the floral thinlit to dry a bit after using the fine-tip glue pin. Add some pearl accents for an elegant touch.
