May Stamp Club Cards

Sorry for the delay in posting, the end of the school year slowed me way down! So that is why I Cased and tweaked the cards we made at our May Stamp Club.

I cased the layout from Bekka at www.feeling-crafty.co.uk but used a different stamp set called Best Day Ever from the Sale-a-bration Brochure from earlier this spring. The words are stamped in Soft Suede ink. The matching Best Year Ever DSP compliments the Soft Suede, Calypso Coral and Whisper White Cardstocks. The cute little Bow Builder Punch is really fun to work with. Glue dots are the trick for assembling the bow. Rhinestone jewels go on top of the periods for the necessary bling! The trick to cutting the angles is to place a light pencil dot where you want the bow to go and then use your Stampin' Trimmer to cut each angle from the dot to the corner. Very cute!

I totally cased this card from Donna Kish (donnas-stampswellwithothers.blogspot.com) but I loved it so much, being a chocolate lover and all. The photopolymer stamp set is Lovely Amazing You. Pistachio Pudding, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstocks were used, plus the Irresistibly Yours DSP from the Sale-a-bration brochure. Chocolate Chip ink was sponged on top of the mini embossed polka dots and wiped with a tissue. The chocolate bar was made with scraps of Chocolate Chip cardstock and also sponged around the edges with Chocolate Chip ink too. Add Melon Mambo mini hearts and a thick baker's twine bow to complete the design.

Inspired by many similar designs on Pinterest using the Balloon Bash stamp set. Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White cardstock plus sheets from the Stacked With Love DSP Stack with an accented black ribbon and bow. The chalkboard paper had the imaged stamped then heat embossed with white embossing powder. When cool, the now discontinued Blendabilities pens were used to color the border and banner parts of the stamped image.

Another CASE from Tina Rappe at Stampin' Studio using the Sheltering Tree set. It's hard to tell but this card is a tri-fold. I changed up Tina's design by placing the white word banner at an angle so more of the tree can show. Also I stamped hearts all over the tree, just because it went with the saying. The Color combination was Soft Sky, Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede, Real Red and Basic Gray. Use your Oval Framelits and Big Shot to make the card front, then emboss it through the Big Shot with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. Finish it off with the Candy Dots.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Stamping!
