June Stamp Club Cards

Hello and Happy June!  I had to resort to more CASing for my June Classes since the end of school was drawing close. Thanks Pinterest!!!  I provided a variety for June at least!

Amy Kunkle designed this lovely card and even provided a stamping video to teach how to get really clean and solid stamped images with the photopolymer balloon stamps that come in the Celebrate Today set with coordinating Framelits. Her word balloon was attached to the lower right corner but I had a little "boo-boo" so my balloon had to go in the upper left area. The card is super simple once you get the inking technique down. Colors are Blushing Bride and Smokey Slate on Whisper White. I used a non - SU baker's twine in gray and white and tied it around the balloon then added two dots of liquid tombow glue to barely hold the string in place.

This collection of beautiful cards were designed by the SU Company Concept Artists and shared at the SU South Pacific Convention where I watched the online videos after the fact. This lovely flower is in the new Annual Catalog as a Hostess Set and is called Best Thoughts. The card in the lower right corner is one of the new In-Colors - Watermelon Wonder. The rest of the colors are Tangerine Tango (top left), Hello Honey (top right), and Pink Pirouette (bottom left.)  Neutrals Color Collection provided the Black and White diagonal DSP. Pearl accents and Whisper White Baker's Twine or thick baker's twine finish off this simple thoughtful card.

A CASe of Rachel Tessman's graduation card using the Sassy Salutations stamp set, except I changed up the embossing folder to the Chevron EF and used our local high school colors of Cherry Cobbler and Hello Honey (Maroon and Gold) along with the Whisper White. The saying was stamped also in Cherry Cobbler. The diploma is just a small piece of vellum tied with gold ribbon.

Inspired by Bronwyn Eastley of addINKtive designs, but I made it my own by placing the doily and butterfly in the center of the card. Crumb Cake is the base with rounded corners and sponged edges. Then layer on the doily and a pool party 2-1/2 in circle and a 2-1/4 in circle of Painted Petals DSP. Finish it off with a Blackberry Bliss butterfly cut with the Butterfly Thinlets. Stamp the greeting using the Sassy Salutations set in Blackberry Bliss ink. Finish it off with a bow on the butterfly, Linen Thread at the fold and two coordinating Candy Dots.

I was trying to use up my stash of Adventure Bound DSP to make a masculine Birthday or Father's Day Card, when I found this great CASe from Amanda Mertz of Did You Stamp Today? Behind the card you can see the other pairs of colors I combined to have an assortment of cards for men. Super easy, after stamping the greeting, just color in the open letters with the white uni-ball pen and finish it off with a little vanilla and gold baker's twine.

Hope you enjoyed your visit. Come on by again!
