December Card Class - Wreath Card

This card's layout came from Kim Cagle, but I loved it, so here's my version. You start with a Whisper White cardstock base. Cut a layer of Cherry Cobbler and dry emboss it with your Big Shot and the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder. The next layer is again Whisper White using the Window Frames Collection Framelits cut on your Big Shot. I stamped the Wondrous Wreath image on Pear Pizazz cardstock with Pear Pizazz ink. Next the berries were stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. Going back to the Big Shot, I used the matching Wondrous Wreath Framelits to cut it out. The wreath has some bling added with coloring rhinestone jewels with the Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities marker and then adding them on top of some of the stamped berries. Retired white ribbon from my collection became the bow. The special hostess set Good Greetings verse was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink. Such an elegant card I think, hope you do too!

December Card Class - Snowman Card

This super easy card was originally inspired by Fiskars. I wanted to try my hand at making a snowman from punches. It's not that hard, except each snowman will be unique if you are eyeballing it like I did. You start with a Whisper White cardstock base. Cut a layer of Soft Sky, then dry emboss it on your Big Shot with the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder. You'll need your 1-3/4 inch punch (punched twice), 1 inch circle punch and 1 inch square punch. The snowman's hat brim is cut with your paper snips to an angle and width of your choice. The card is finished off with 3 different sized rhinestone jewels. If you need a card that's fast and easy, then this one is for you!

Thanks for visiting!

November Card Class Designs

Now I've caught up with my fall card designs. Hope you have enjoyed them all.

I was inspired by a similar design by Lisa Johansen, but I make it my own. Holiday Home Stamp Set  and matching framelit along with Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper are the go-to combination for this fall birthday card. A sponged stencil sun in Daffodil Delight, and falling leaves in Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist and Garden Green, along with Early Espresso trees makes this fall card. The verse comes from Bloom with Hope hostess set. The card base is Crumb Cake.

This card was inspired by Lyssa Griffin Zwolanek. The Giving Thanks card just takes your breath away with these rich fall colors. The Seasonally Scattered stamp is sponged with Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow for a random effect. The splatter background is down with stamped off Soft Suede ink with the Glorious Grunge set. The Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper along with Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow cardstock just make this card pop.  The Giving tag is made from one of the stamps in the Making Spirits Bright set, along with a the retired mini tag punch and topped off with a Candy Dot. Linen Thread and Very Vintage Designer Buttons help finish this card.

I CASED this card from www.mychicnscratch.com.  This easy card uses Lost Lagoon and Whisper White together for a frosty card. The Mingle All the Way stamp set works nicely with the All is Calm Designer Washi Tape. Lost Lagoon ink, 1/8" silver ribbon bow and a couple of rhinestone jewels make this an easy card to produce.

The card was inspired by Sera Lewis of the Pink Paper Bakery. This holiday card is using some retired Designer Series Paper, but the idea could be accomplished with any holiday paper you have available. My card base is Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla cardstocks. Using the Tree Punch and the Christmas Bliss photopolymer set with Cherry Cobbler ink, you can mass produce this card very easily. The single rhinestone jewel at the tree tip is all you need.

I was inspired by www.stampingwithsandi.com's design, but made it my own. Endless Wishes stamp set is so fun to use to make this fast holiday card in Marina Mist, Brushed Silver, and Whisper White paper with corners rounded. The snowflakes are stamped in Marine Mist and Silver ink. Use the Decorative Label Punch and the Extra Large Oval for the greeting also from this stamp set. I used some retired Pear Pizazz seam binding ribbon but current Whisper White seam binding ribbon would also look elegant. Top it off with some rhinestone jewels and you'll be all set.

Happy Autumn y'all!

October Stamp Class Cards to Share

My Card Classes this fall are featuring two Christmas Cards with each class.

This card is inspired by many designs I saw on Pinterest, but I made with my own. This Thank You Card uses the stamp sets-  Everything Eleanor, Petite Petals, Glorious Grunge, and Watercolor Thank You. The color scheme is Rich Razzleberry, Strawberry Slush, River Rock and Whisper White. The Decorative Labels Framelits were used along with Pearl Jewels to accent the card. The edge of the framelit cut out was sponged with River Rock ink. The Pansy and Petite Petals punches were also used.

This card was inspired by "Feline" from the Netherlands at Split Coast Stampers. This Halloween card was so fun to make, because I tried a new technique. I dripped a few drops of Daffodil Delight reinker on the punched circle of Silver Glimmer Paper and rubbed it around with a kleenex and the glimmer paper turned yellow for a cool harvest moon! The stamp set is Holiday Home with it's matching Framelits, the greeting set is Good Greetings. Some retired Halloween paper was used with torn ends along with retire chevron Washi Tape . The cardstock that was used was Smokey Slate, Pumpkin Pie and Whisper White. Black Stazon Ink and Pumpkin Pie ink was used. The house was hand colored with Versamark Pen, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Smokey Slate Stampin' Write Markers.

This card was CASED from Kristine Burns. This card uses the Cheerful Christmas stamp set along with the Filigree Frame Embossing Folder. The color scheme is Real Red, Wild Wasabi, and Whisper White. The Label Collection Framelits were used to cut out the shape with the Big Shot. The stamp was hand colored with Real Red and Wild Wasabi Stampin' Write Markers. Candy Dots and Rhinestone Jewels were added for accents.

My original design. This card began with Garden Green cardstock being run through the Big Shot with the Circle Thinlit to create this foldable card. The Star Border punch was used on the Whisper White background. The Making Spirits Bright Stamp set was stamped in Black Stazon Ink and then hand colored with Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, and So Saffron Stampin' Write Markers.  Cheers is stamped in the corner with Cherry Cobbler from the Good Greetings set. The Designer Series Paper is retired from a couple years ago.

Thanks for dropping in!

September Card Class Cards to Enjoy

Well, I've fallen miserably behind in my postings but I'm going to catch up ASAP! The start of the school year this fall really slowed me down. Luckily, there is still time to make some of these beautiful cards before the holidays!

This cute Z fold  card was inspired by Susie Wood. The stamp set is Pictogram Punches. The color scheme is Lost Lagoon, Tangerine Tango and Whisper White with Flowerpot Designer Series Paper. The flowers use the Bitty Accents Punch Pack and Mini Brads. Lost Lagoon ribbon finishes it off.

This snowflake card design was inspired by www.stampintx.com. It uses three stamp sets. Christmas Bliss, Work of Art, and Joy to the World. The color combo is Soft Sky, Smokey Slate, Marina Mist and Whisper White. Black Stazon Ink for all stamping then finished up the Rhinestone Jewels.

This cute card was inspired by Laurie Willison.  The Stamp sets are Something to Say and Cupcake Party. The color scheme is Wisteria Wonder, Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White. The Cupcake punch was used along with Apothecary Accents Framelits. The Scallop Border Embossing Folder is retired. The cupcake is accented with Pearl Jewels.

This is my original design. The Color Scheme is Gumball Green and Cherry Cobbler with Champagne Glimmer Paper and Whisper White. The Distressed Dots Embossing Folder is used. I used the Festival of Trees Stamp Set and the verse from Endless Wishes. The punches are Tree Punch,  Modern Label, Large Oval, and Scallop Oval. It's hard to see but the red balls on the tree were heat embossed with Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder, then additional Champagne Glimmer Paper balls were hole-punched with a normal sized hole punch. The trees are mounted above Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine.

Thanks for taking a look and stopping by!
