Festive Flurry Circle Thinlits Card

After much "researching" online around Pinterest  I designed this card for my Fancy Card Class that's coming up in December. I cut the brushed silver cardstock in half at 5.5" x 8.5" but then I trimmed the 5.5" height down just a 'smidge' so it would slide inside the Circle Card Thinlit Die and it would allow me to 'weave' the paper to lay on top of the metal die to create the additional flap on the right side of the card. The finished card slided into a white envelope that has had Brushed Silver paper cut with the Envelope Liner Framelit  Die and inserted for a lined envelope look. So elegant! Check out the supply list below and remember you can always order through my online store!

Winter Banner Idea

Stampin' Up! has designed the Christmas Banner Simply Created accessory kit (132697 $9.95) so I had to make a "Winter" Banner with it using the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit (133507 $19.95). It is super easy to color the banners using a sponge dauber and less messy than the spritzer method Stampin' Up! tells you to use.
A friend also shared with me how you can stack the banner for storage by rotating one flag on top of the next to keep them all lying flat. I thought that was genius!
If you haven't tried one of the banner kits in the Holiday Catalog I'd recommend it before they are gone at the end of December!
